MAINTENANCE

To maintain safety and reduce the cost of car repair, it is important that you have your car inspected. A regular mechanical inspection should be done and not just a visual inspection of your vehicle, since many components of your car cannot be inspected visually. Anyone who's ever worked on cars will tell you: Don't ignore preventive maintenance. The basics, like changing your oil, checking your Tyre pressure, and having scheduled services are like getting regular checkups at the doctor. They keep you healthy and give you -- and the experts -- a chance to catch anything serious before it becomes a major problem. With your car, that can save you thousands of dollars.
Have your engine checked regularly. Remember that the engine is the heart of your car; with a busted engine, your car is useless. Having your engine checked regularly will ensure that it is working properly and it is up to speed. Also, it is important to check your car transmission, otherwise you might find yourself stuck on the side of the road.
Car maintenance is very important and by following preventive maintenance measures, you are able to save time, effort and money. With the assistance of a good mechanic you will be able to have a well-maintained and properly running vehicle. It is important that you take care of any minor concerns as soon as you recognize them to avoid any serious problems and an expensive car repairs in the future.

      CAR SERVICING

A motor vehicle service is a series of maintenance procedures carried out at a set time interval or after the vehicle has traveled a certain distance. The service intervals are specified by the vehicle manufacturer in a service schedule and some modern cars display the due date for the next service electronically on the instrument panel.
The completed services are usually recorded in a service book which is rubber stamped by the service center upon completion of each service. A complete service history usually adds to the resale value of a vehicle.

      TUNING & BRAKES

Checking the brakes should also be part of your basic car maintenance. It is highly suggested that you seek the assistance of a good mechanic to have your brakes checked or replaced. Remember that maintenance of your brakes is important for safety reasons. Low brake fluid levels can cause soft brake pedals.
At the same time, dirty brake pads can cause the brakes to squeak. Having your brakes checked regularly by a mechanic can prevent these from happening and ultimately reduce the risks of accidents caused by brake malfunction.

      SUSPENSION

Your car's suspension system is made up of struts, shock absorbents, springs and tires.
Their function is to keep the tires on the road by controlling movement and by maintaining a vertical load on the tires.
Under normal driving conditions, the shocks on your car stroke' over one thousand times per kilometre.

As a result, shock absorbents wear out quite quickly.  The springs support the weight of your vehicle, acting as a flexible link allowing the frame and body to ride relatively undisturbed while the tires and suspension follow the road
